A mysterious golden letter is sent to a select number of people... Its contents are unknown.
Project Kat is a short, unconventional RPG horror game in which there is always another way. Solve puzzles, make friends (or not), and guide Kat as she attempts to uncover the mystery behind a strange golden letter.
This is a story-based puzzle game where each puzzle has multiple solutions and outcomes! There is always another way.
The game is playable in about 45 minutes and contains multiple endings depending on your actions.
This is the prologue to Paper Lily, the full game (currently in development), but it's also a standalone story that can be enjoyed on its own.

Just kidding it's really not that bad. But still it's a horror game :)

This game was incredible for a little pixel horror feature! I loved it, it was very spooky and well made! I especially love the artstyle and the music! Great work!
well, I just played and to be honest sensational, a very well crafted art as well as every detail, a good game, gave me goosebumps, thanks for the beautiful work.
Pretty cool, however, near the end when there's book Lily can't read. It gives me a weird vibe she's like, somewhat illiterate. Probably not, but the vibe is to strong for me to continue playing any of the other games

I can`t get enough of that game! It`s so cool, like eating and sleeping at the same time. But also it is difficult to play,it is so nice like the chinese tea to a yummy scone.

Very good game with a very good quality in drawing by hand and arts. Story is nice and multiple options in puzzles give to content a long life.

My name is Yoshikage Kira. I’m 33 years old. My house is in the northeast section of Morioh, where all the villas are, and I am not married. I work as an employee for the Kame Yu department stores, and I get home every day by 8 PM at the latest. I don’t smoke, but I occasionally drink. I’m in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress in the morning.
I was told there were no issues at my last check-up. I’m trying to explain that I’m a person who wishes to live a very quiet life. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn’t lose to anyone.

Definately 10/10. This is second best 2D game after Corpse Party. I hope this game became popular so the dev in next chapter will hire a Voice Actor to voiceover the girl especially my waifu KAT <3

I just noticed that the tags mention RPG Maker, albeit the game is clearly written in Godot, judging from the project's file structure.

This game is soooo amazing and interesting plus the art is very beautiful I'm very happy that I found this masterpiece :)) Still amazed that it's only a prologue so I'm looking foward to play the main game. On my way to talk about it to my friends

you can see the 8th ending wasn't so obvious to you, you can still make that ending, I'll just say that while running through the whole hallway after using the door key
One of the best horror games ever. The game play is high-quality, the dialogue is thoughtful, and the world is immersive! The art and graphics are really, really good too. But, if I had to pick a favourite, I would say the horror. It's not an over-the-top total gore fest with nothing but gore, but also not boring clichés of supernatural events. It definitely has supernatural themes, blood and gore, and is generally disturbing (in the best way), but it's very tasteful and well-used. I can't wait to recommend this to my family and friends, get as many endings as possible and let it overtake my life.
