Project Kat
Update #9 : Chapter 1 and Kickstarter
Greetings!
It means a lot that you have all been so supportive of Project Kat since its release! Sometimes just reading your comments and sharing your excitement for Chapter 1 was enough to cheer us up and keep us going! A few words or minutes of your time can often leave a big impact on someone's life!
With that said, we have some news :)
Paper Lily Chapter 1 will release in January for free, along with a Kickstarter campaign (*nervous sweating*).
Please consider clicking that nifty "Notify me on launch" button if you're interested! It will allow you to receive an email when the Kickstarter (and consequently Chapter 1) is out! In fact, please consider clicking the button even if you're not interested at all! You may become interested by the time it's out!
This Kickstarter will likely determine the fate of this game, of the entire franchise, of our lives, and most importantly, Kat's fate.
We're EXTREMELY NERVOUS.
But this is fine.
In case you've missed our recent posts or don't have a twitter (good for you, Twitter is kind of a mess right now), here's a recap:
Here's our first mini teaser for Chapter 1 showcasing several environments you'll be able to explore (and some new characters)!
Some official character sheets (in retrospect, Lacie's exact hair color has changed over 10 times since the beginning of development, but we don't talk about that).

Absolutely loved this game. The ambience, the UI - all was great! Hope you guys continue with it :)
i played this game after stumbling into it and i gotta say i love it, the design and art style was really good and the lore that it already has? it cant get even better! im excited to see where it leads to and i already love the character designs already, very hyped! keep up the good work!

I stumbled upon this game very randomly, it got suggested to me as I was downloading another spooky ooky game, and I gotta say, I absolutely love everything, no complaints, and I already can't wait for Paper Lily to drop.

I express an exceptional wish to translate Paper Lily into Russian, will the method of translating the game stay the same with you just storing all the plot lines in the CSV files (and including all the other necessary files)?
I'm genuinely confused whether Project Kat and Paper Lily are the same game or not?
They are the same game! Project Kat is the prologue to introduce the world and some characters, and Chapter 1 is the continuation :) It just happens to follow a different protagonist.

Never been as excited about a game, as I have been about this, and I've been playing for like 20 years. The prologue was amazing. You guys should be on money etc. Can't wait. Clicked the kickstarter. LET'S GOOOOOOO!
Project Kat was great! I can't wait until Paper Lily comes out! I'll probably support the kivkstarter and I'll be looking forward to January. Lacie seems as good as Kat from what I have seen.

I'm so happy to see your project moving on again. I've been in anticipation for YEARS now.
I love the picklock mechanic, it was pain but it was fun, hope it comes back one day, but if possible, with a better chance of us retrying it.
Nevertheless, good luck and don't worry, you guys will do fine!
