Nice game. At first I was not very excited, but it gradually got more engaging. The atmosphere of the game managed to make me apprehensive. Near the end I was already thinking that there would be some jumpscare. Good job guys!

When I cut the pretty girl's hair, I choked on my salad. 10/10, the art is beautiful, the minigame was cute and fun, the choices made me feel as if I were contributing(even if there's only one ending), even the snippet of story that the players get to see is intriguing. There's some definite spoopage, but it's mild enough that it doesn't overwhelm. Thank you for making this game and allowing me to play it for free :) Definetly making some fan art for this . . And will buy full version, or at least send you money if you allow me.
Oh my god... This game is so awesome. Characters look awesome, engine works awesome, everything looks beautiful, two - are lenght of the gameplay, and situation when my game crashed when Kat needed to wait 5 minutes and I thought that I must wait that 5 minutes in real life...(don't get it wrong, I was laughing at myself). So funny and at the same time scary. I'm waiting for your next game!~~ 10/10
I did love the game! It was so fun to play and super intruiguing, I loved the ritual thing because in most of the games the paranormal stuff happens by itself but here the player has to look for it. I also liked the dialogues between the characters and Kat's sassy atittude, I think the game has the fair amount of creepyness and noncreepyness (?) .I didn't feel like a horror game at the beginning but then the situations gets so real and I was totally caught up in it. The unknown world was unsetteling with al the switching maps, I found that so creative, it makes it more interesting and I love how the perspective of the game change once the player enter from the real world to the another world. The art was delightful there are a lot of details in the classes, the various dialogue choices, the character's sprites are so pretty, the animations and the little tutorials througout the game. I'm looking forward to know more about this story, thank you so much for creating this game!
The game was amazing and I loved the attention to detail in every aspect. The animations, a different one for running instead of just making the character faster as most rpg-like games do. The plot, unraveling slowly with multiple characters and leaving clues here and there. The little touches like the spinning globe.
The part after the ritual is decidedly unsettling and I loved how in that short while Kat already had character development. The art was beautiful, from the environments to the character art and even the cute puzsles. Even the music was simple but well achieved. And you can draw A BUTT?? What else can you ask for.
You can tell there's a lot of love and care put into this game and it shows in every aspect, from the gorgeous art to the multifaceted story to the programming and all the extras added here and there. Please keep it up, if you continue this way the full game will be a masterpiece. <3 <3 <3 Is there a patreon or anything like that?
And you can cut the happy green plants with the scissors and make them not very happy :) Pity you can't make a lot of beautiful paper cranes from the red math notebook's pages :)
As a fan of 2D and older horror games, Project Kat really stood out to me! I enjoyed the blending of modes in terms of puzzles and exploration in different locations. The dialogue seemed fairly genuine and the choices were more open than I anticipated. I'm looking forward to seeing more on the 'project.' The soundtrack did an excellent job setting the mood as well. I wonder if the creators will share it on something like bandcamp? I think there may be many like me who wouldn't mind sharing a few dollars for it, if its something that the creators can distribute.
I love this so far! The controls are a bit unnatural as I am a bit more used to WASD, but that's a small gripe compared to how much I enjoyed the game. The art is absolutely pretty and I love the music. I love the atmosphere the game sets too! Looking forward to more of this game.
i thoroughly enjoyed this game, i'm not one for horror but i decided to give this a go and i was captivated just from the word ritual, amazing storyline so far, though i do have a complaint about the controls i found it difficult playing with the arrow keys as i am used to one handed play with rpg, if you could in the future add a control config for people to customise their controls to their liking that'd be splendid. cannot wait for more from this game
this was honestly a very good and the set up was nice and the over all fundamentals were great I really look forward to this being a bigger game very impressed

Just got done with it. Oh my golly, that was fun for a demo. I have no qualms about anything so far. I really enjoyed the BGM, the art and play style. The story and characters are unique and totally likeable. For a horror RPG, if this could even get any better than it already is now, then this should earn a top spot with Mad Father and Ib and others. You all in the dev team keep up the good work! I really love the art, is so amazing and I hope to be able to play the entire game, the story it's very interesting.
