Thanks for taking the time to write this. We assure you that Project Kat contains no viruses or malware.
As with any executable file on the internet, there's always a possibility of false negatives. A good way of telling if this is the case is checking virus total: Project Kat 64 bit and Project Kat 32 bit (v1.2.1) - As you can see there are 5 out of 66 anti-viruses that decided the 32 bit version may be dangerous (even though we compile both versions from the same code!), whereas zero did for the 64 bit version.
Anti-viruses tend to be overzealous about packed executables, especially unsigned ones. Ultimately it is up to you to decide whether to trust a random game you downloaded from the internet, but at least make sure you downloaded it from this page and not some sketchy site!
Played this game yesterday, And i physically can't say anything because the quality is just so good. One complaint i do have though is that towards the End it got Very flashy. Maybe an Epilepsy warning at some point would prevent someone with an actual problem getting harmed (Unless you do actually have a warning and im just blind which could be the case)
Other than that i can't wait to see how this game may eventually turn out
Amzing game! I really liked how it makes you consider your actions at the beginning, I'm sure it could get even more interesting and dynamic to play with that aspect of the game in future releases! 10000/10

I'll try again later. Apparently AVG is known for being overzealous. In fact, just after quarantining your game it went on to do the same thing for a regular steam game that I have played a lot.

Guys this game is just amazing :D, i am eagerly waiting for the full version, it gave chills down my spine and the environment of the game is just perfect!!!!! Waiting for the full game, if anyone is thinking to download this game, guys don't think just go ahead and download it,you wont regret ;)
Played this game yesterday and it was incredible, the whole atmosphere is completely terrifying and the artwork is amazing. I really like the concept of the looping room in the hallway, the demon following Kat. It gets scarier and you expect a jumpscare but there isn't one and it's like your skin crawls and you finally realise what's going on. The bit that really got me was when there was a figure flickering that terrified me. Nonetheless this is a great game and I can't wait to see what else you guys have to offer :)!
I know dude, that flickering figure scared me to hell, it was like now there's a huge jumpscare, but there wasn't one and still that flickering thing gave me chills down the spine!

I haven't found any sort of comprehensive wiki or forum about this game, so I might as well ask here.
After the ritual, the second part of the game seems to proceed in exactly the same way every time. Do your previous chances no longer matter after this point?
Can you use the rune at any point of the game and is there any difference on which rune you choose?
Is opening and closing the window just for fluff or can it result in something? What about spinning the earth globe?
hmmm tbh what i am saying now is not official in any way but my thoughts and other players input to what may have happened after the ending,1.after the ritual it doesnt look like your previous choices matter at that point in the game,2.i dont think you are able to use the rune in the game,but iirc someone further in the comments did point out that after that cut scene with what i presume is a monster of some sort,we can somewhat say that the protective rune plays a part later on in the continuation of the story,3.i am not to sure about the window closing and opening but if the ritual states to do that then ig it might have a role to play.If you want try taking out the flowers instead of placing the flower in the pot in the first scene,it turns out different from the first time :)
This was honestly fantasic; I have no criticisms. I loved the cute pixel designs, the anime-style character art, the cute mini-games, sounds, story, side-scrolling gameplay aspect, and the little instructional drawing tutorials.
I would love to see more games from your team in the future. Thanks for making such an awesome game.

For those who can, I really need support so subscribe to my channel.
- The starting of the game is lovely but still (to my opinion) there is no clear connection between the start (in my video from the minute 2:00 to 5:45) and here you can in the future add that section to the game and I highly recommend you use that dove and have a side story for it.
- At the loading screen in minute 6:00 I think there should be something like ACT 01... i have checked other videos and found some have it, me had nothing like that. But I must say it is so cute that loading screen, I LOVE IT ♥
- Around minute 11:00 and while I was looking for the items in that room, it was so hard to locate where is the items... and for you guys to understand me more, around minute 12:41 I did not even know you can draw on the chalkboard which you can easily miss it if you are not like me exploring every corner (it might be boring to explore all when making a YouTube video) HOWEVER.... it was so funny you can have that option to draw a butt LOL.
- There is a room that it is not even being included in the game being locked all time at minute 15:13 (I think you should take advantage of that room)
- There is something missing regarding the three runes at minute 17:44 I do not get it how to choose and what impacts has my choices on the game!.
- The puzzle in the minute 20:49 is so good (I want more puzzles like that).
- In minute 36:28 the windows effect is perfect... more is required of those.
- In minute 39:26 that black substance has no value in the game yet and it should be taken into mind.
- Most of the doors around minute 40:00 are useless and can not be opened at all at any time during the game.
- At minute 43:55 it was amazing!!!
- The graphics at minute 47:06 are amazing... I loved them so much.
- The Ending is perfect but we need more for the story (the start espacially).
I loved it, a really entertaining demo and cute animation. When you are recollecting materials you feel the tension but when you get to the last part I feel it needs something to make it scarier. Overall a great demo and I would love to play the full version :D (also Kat is such a cutie!!)
This is so well made for being such a short game or I'm assuming is the demo of an even bigger game. Regardless, I thoroughly enjoyed the game and hope to see the full release!
