I finally got around to playing this! I played Project Kat literally 4 years ago (insane how fast 4 years go by) but the entire time I constantly remembered my time with it and would occasionally check in for when Paper Lily was releasing.
Funny enough, when I was playing Project Kat, I saw it was made in Godot, and since then I've learned a bit of Godot myself with interests in game development.
This game has been a treat to see come to life and finally get to play!!! I'm so excited to go through the entire thing and savour it. Also the music is incredible. I love the change that happens when "this is when the search truly begins"
I would love to play the continuation of the kat project, I discovered this game 1 day ago and I'm already a big fan of this game, but I would like to have the translation into Portuguese (Brazil)
very exciting, lots of dead ends, more exciting when the final knife boss is quite long and complicated (difficult) that's when the knife throwing pazzle at the last moment, and the characters in the previous game become demons in the demon shop,also, I'm patiently waiting for the next episode
started playing like 2 hours ago and got 2nd and 6th ending only, but i can already tell that this is the best game i've ever played. i can't tell much about the story since i haven't unlocked the true ending yet, but the garphics and music is amazing. now my main goal is to unlock all the endings (edit : unlocked them all 3 days after writing this) and after that i'm gonna play project kat and unlock all the endings as well.

Pixel scenes and characters really too careful! The music and sound effects work well together too! Especially like a small piece of lily where pure music! Just played the updated version, got all the endings, and went back to get all the endings of Project Kat again, because I couldn't get enough of this game. Seriously, you are both awesome.
I remember saving this game like a year ago but I didn't play it because I wasn't in the mood, then I forgot about this game for months until the internet went out one day (around yesterday) and thank god I downloaded it months before, finally decided to play it and it was the best decision ever, I spent more than five hours on my first playthrough and it kept me entertained all throughout the game, and not only that, THIS IS STILL CHAPTER 1 (AND THERE'S SO MANY ENDINGS). This is one of the best games I've ever played 5/5!
Depending on when you downloaded it, you might wanna download it again, a bunch of stuff got added in the meanwhile (including new dead ends and the miss knives sequence getting a lot better!)
Got it on steam and i am absolutely OBSESSED. Its got great visuals, storytelling, etc. I probably spent too much time avoiding the maze but this game is great and gave me motivation to actually work on stuff for my game. Im excited for the rest!!

Guys, what am I supposed to do when I am stuck? I like to think I'm a gamer but I don't know what to do. Here, it looks like I'm supposed to ask someone who's already beat the game or something, but I really don't want to spoil the fun for myself. For example, I've been stuck trying to "Find a way to go deeper down" forever, and me not being able to get the puzzle (mildly) infuriates me. I put 55 for the elevator and now it's not wise to call it when there's creatures nearby?? Yeah, that kind of mechanic would impress me if it looked like there's another way to do it!!! Please, my dear gamer bros, respond to my wail.
EDIT 2: Now there's a creature blocking the path to that room WTF this game's playing me
EDIT 3: Now I'm trapped in this laboratory, which has all this blood and "smells putrid" and there's nothing for me to do here, and a creature is keeping me trapped in here. What do I do?

This game had been in the back of my head for several months since seeing it in my recommendations, and I finally pulled myself together to play it. I must say, I expected maybe 30-45 minutes of entertainment, but instead, I got nearly 5 hours of entertainment — for free. That's absolutely bonkers, dudes!
It's easy to see the sheer passion you guys put into this game. I was hooked all the way through and absolutely fell in love with the characters and the story. The fact that you released it under a pay-what-you-want model really shows how much you love this project and want as many people to experience it. Just for that, I bought both the supporter pack and the soundtrack to support this project. I encourage everyone who can spare some change to do the same if they enjoyed it as much as I did.

Much like when I played Project Kat, I am baffled at my ability to make things go so wrong so fast XD. Slowly starting to believe there aren't actually any good endings hahaha. Loving the story though and how much it varies depending on what you do and don't do. It's visually beautiful as well and the soundtrack fits the vibe of each area super well. This game also reminds me a lot of Ib, a game I have very fond (and scary) memories of. Can't wait to see more from you guys!
Alrighty, so i got this game downloaded on steam and i've got all the achievements but ONE. the bucket one. i have done several playthroughs to achieve it but every time the bucket is never there 😭im wondering if it's randomised? or i have to follow a specific path? i need help here pls

So i figured it out and it's actually such a cool hidden detail by Leef. So my previous playthroughs i've just been speedrunning the entire game front to back, and I was right when I said that it is a specific path to take.
//SPOILERS AHEAD//
Right before the facility level, the two levels of the lake. The bucket is one of the choices you can take to get rid of the lake monster, if you choose to splash it with water using the bucket, the bucket will appear in the facility staircase because Lacie did have it in her inventory and it won't appear if you didn't do this and instead fed the monster a fish or the injured rabbit.
Another cool thing I noticed is that if you keep the caterpillar in your inventory when you're heading into the facility, instead of giving it to the shadow girl, letting it go or just killing it, the remains of its terrarium will appear on the stairs too.
I just think this is just a really cool little detail Leef added in, very awesome sauce 😼👍

This was extremely good! While the start is a little slow, especially with that really terrible stealth section in the locked area, the whole climax with Misses Knives really makes up for it! It was for me the most visually pleasant area of the game, and the character of Misses Knives is a fairly original concept and her backstory is very well executed! Overall the graphics have a lot of charm, with good puzzles, very nice character design, and interesting lore set up!
