It will not be a new chapter, but rather version 1.1 of the first chapter. Now with branches, new areas and actual "Dead Ends" (everyone who played the "Project Kat" knows in this "franchise" dead ends are a good thing :) )
I loved the story very much, and I congratulate the owner of the game for his interest and not neglecting the performance and the reaction is beautiful and not boring at all. I support you strongly. Keep going. You are the only one who strongly motivated me to play pixel games.
Edit: If you do chapter 2 paid, I could pay it at steam, but not here because itch io doesn't allow paysafecard, anyways, I don't mind paying cuz you two do a great job, and don't be so worried about time, it's more than worth the waiting for this games.
this was great!! the art is so pretty and the puzzles are the most fun ive had from a videogame in a while... and i did get jumpscared several times loool.
This game was so cuteee I loved the detail and it gave me a few unexpected jumps here and there but it was very wonderful excited for the next chapterr!!!!
You can tell they put their time and effort into this game. I only played a little bit, but I plan to finish the whole demo over on my YouTube channel.
I've never played a game this good! I was transported into the universe and kept wondering what was going to happen to Lacie again. I'm really a scared person and I'm scared for nothing in the games, but this one combined horror and humor and despite a few scares, I was able to play while having fun (which doesn't usually happen because I'm too scared to continue). I couldn't let go of the game! I wondered if we were going to see Hiro again, I wondered if we were going to see Hiro again, if chapter one would end without us going home, etc. Honestly, I think chapter 1 is so good that I wonder how chapter 2 will go! With a Chapter 1 like this, Chapter 2 is going to be even more impressive! I'm sad that I don't have any money to offer you, but if I did, I would definitely make a donation to keep this game alive and come to an end because it's a very good game as it can be. I just finished the game and I can't wait to find out why Sai didn't walk out the door with us or if our parents came back and all that! Can't wait for Chapter 2!
I think you should add more effect like blurry red on the screen at the monster maze when the monster is near so you will know it's here, add scream of the monster to make it as realistic as possible.
For the black demon in the ruin section, I think you should add a scream to it to make it as scary as possible.
Death animation is also something to add in. For example, if Lacie died to Kett, then there should be a blood pond and her clothes here but torn up; for the spikes, she will die to them with a lot of spikes going through her body; and last but not least, for Miss Knives boss fight, a knife will cut her body in half. By adding these, we will make the game better!
Also, extend Miss Knives fight more because I felt it was too short!
Nice game btw! I'm so hyped for the final product!
